If you’ve ever visited one of our fast, beautifully designed websites that simply “worked”, there’s a good chance Katherine was behind it. As a Senior WordPress Developer with more than a decade of experience, Katherine’s “can do attitude” has designed, built, optimised and maintained 100s of websites. Her expertise spans the entire website development journey and she specialises in creating websites that aren’t just visually appealing, but technically sound, search-engine friendly and capable of loading in under three seconds. It’s the kind of work most users never notice—and that’s exactly the point. “The best websites feel effortless to use because of the countless technical decisions happening behind the scenes.”
An Unexpected Journey
Interestingly, Katherine never planned to become a web developer. Growing up, her mother was convinced she would become an architect—a career that certainly would have suited her eye for design and attention to detail. Instead, curiosity led her down a different path. A web design course sparked an interest. That became a part-time job. The part-time job became a full-time role. And before she knew it, she’d built a successful career in web design and development. She laughs when she remembers what she originally thought web design involved. “I honestly thought web design was taking a Word document and putting it online.” Safe to say, she quickly discovered there was far more to it.
The Quiet Force Behind Great Websites
While many developers thrive on client interaction, Katherine is happiest doing what she does best—building. She enjoys solving technical challenges, and creating elegant solutions behind the scenes. Her ideal day? A good cup of coffee. A complex technical problem to solve. Minimal meetings. And plenty of uninterrupted time to build. It’s this focus that has earned her a reputation among her colleagues as being relentless. Once Katherine takes ownership of a project, she doesn’t settle until it’s performing at its absolute best. She has exceptionally high standards—not only for the websites she builds but also for the quality of the work around her. Integrity, competence and honesty matter deeply to her, and those values are reflected in every project she delivers.

Outside the office, Katherine’s competitive spirit is just as evident.
At school she excelled in both athletics and swimming, demonstrating the same determination that now defines her professional life.
